Zonta Rodeo Queen Quest by the Zonta Club of Mount Isa

The Zonta Club of Mount Isa Inc. was chartered in September 1993; the Club presently has 30 members, with a number of charter members still active. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month.

The Rodeo Queen Quest has a rich and generous history in Mount Isa.

The first ever Mount Isa Rodeo Queen was Judy Brennan who was crowned in 1961. Queen hopefuls have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the local community.  They have washed cars, held fashion parades and social evenings, organised fun runs and talent shows. 

In 2022, the Quest had a name change to the Mount Isa Community Quest. However, due to COVID and other factors, the Quest did not run in 2023 or 2024.

In 2025, the Zonta Club of Mount Isa proudly picked up the reins, and commenced co-ordination and administration of the Quest. It was renamed to the Zonta Rodeo Queen Quest in November 2024.
