RaffleTix recognises the importance of privacy protection and has created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate its commitment to protecting your privacy. The RaffleTix Privacy Policy covers the collection, use, storage, review, correction, and disclosure of your personal information and complies with the Australian Privacy Principles outlined in the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012.

2. Anonymity and pseudonymity

As a visitor to the RaffleTix website you are free to browse without entering any personal information and therefore may remain anonymous during your visit.

To guard against fraud, RaffleTix requires all customers to identify themselves accurately when purchasing raffle tickets through the RaffleTix website. This information is stored by us in order to produce reports pertaining to the raffle event. These reports are provided to the fundraising beneficiary as part of their record keeping obligations and may be requested by the relevant government department.

RaffleTix will only collect the personal information it requires to provide you with business and related services or for the promotion or marketing of its services.

You have a right to access the personal information that RaffleTix holds about you. You can access your personal information by contacting RaffleTix. RaffleTix may require you to put your request in writing for security reasons.

Additional information relating to the RaffleTix website

RaffleTix uses browser cookies to retain login information. The cookies do not contain any personal information.

The RaffleTix website uses social media tracking pixels that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognise when someone has visited our site or taking an action in relation to our site. We also facilitate our client organisers ability to learn more about your interest in their raffle at their request through the use of these tracking pixels. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly. As a result, declining cookies will impair their functioning.

RaffleTix uses analytics and customisation cookies to collect information that is used either in aggregate form to help us understand how our website is being used or how effective our marketing campaigns are, or to help us customise our website for you.

While RaffleTix contains links to other websites, it is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

RaffleTix uses multiple, secure payment processing systems to process credit card payments. The choice of payment processing system is made by the client organisation running the raffle on the RaffleTix website.
