About Turvey Park Wanderers Junior Rugby League Football Club

Turvey Park Wanderers JRLFC is a proud not-for-profit organisation that has been at the heart of the Wagga Wagga community for over 65 years. Every dollar raised goes directly back into the club, funding vital resources such as training and fitness equipment, playing uniforms, and the upkeep of our training and playing fields.

We cater to a wide range of age groups, fielding tackle teams from Under 6s through to Under 16s. Our female programs are thriving, with teams in Girls League Tag (Under 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16) and Girls Tackle (Under 14 and Under 16), offering a fun, inclusive, and competitive environment for young athletes of all backgrounds.

The club proudly competes in the Group 9 Junior Rugby League competitions and is known throughout the region for our red, white, and blue colours. We are deeply integrated into the local rugby league ecosystem, serving as a key feeder club for the South City Bulls RLFC. This partnership reflects our strong commitment to player development and providing clear pathways for progression in the sport.

Beyond the field, Turvey Park JRL is all about community. We have an incredible base of supporters who get behind our regular meat tray raffles and major fundraising events throughout the year. We're currently looking to expand these efforts by teaming up with RaffleTix, which will help us increase the safety, security, and reach of our ticket sales year round.

The club also regularly hosts home games and community events at Parramore Park, playing an important role in keeping Wagga Wagga’s rugby league culture strong and vibrant.
