Stanmore Music Festival

Stanmore Music Festival Association Inc is a not-for-profit community Association established to run a free annual music festival in Stanmore in conjunction with the Inner West Council. It is held in honour of former resident and renowned music teacher, educator and conductor, Richard Gill AO. We aim to provide opportunities for musicians of all ages and skills to perform at the festival. We run an annual fundraiser to help with the costs of providing PA, sound engineers and stages for performers who perform free of charge. The festival is free and open to the public. Most support to organise and run the festival is provided by unpaid volunteers from the local community in Stanmore. 2025 will be the 5th edition of the festival. We have previously run raffles using paper tickets and hope to improve this process this year.
