Protea Place Inc.

Protea Place Women's Support Centre based in Toowoomba Qld is the regions only Women's Centre. We provide a day time drop in service for women experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence, disadvantage and isolation and any other life trauma. We offer dignity services of a hot lunch, showers, laundry, clothing boutique, toiletries along with advocacy and referral support. Protea Place receives no governemtn funding and relies on the generosity of the community, fundraising, sponsorship and community grants to operate.
