Overview: Logan City Orchestras (LCO) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to growing vibrant orchestral opportunities across the City of Logan. Community-driven and inclusive, LCO fosters musical excellence, education, and engagement for people of all ages and abilities through a flexible, project-based model. LCO is home to the Logan City Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) and will expand to include chamber, youth, and cross-genre ensembles that reflect the city’s cultural diversity. Led by musicians, educators, and arts workers, LCO partners with local venues, community groups, and businesses to create pathways into music and strengthen Logan’s cultural life. Goals: Our goals are to: (a) build outstanding orchestral communities and performances that inspire; (b) showcase Logan’s cultural diversity through engaging concerts and outreach; (c) develop and mentor local artists; (d) create pathways for careers in music and the arts, and (e) collaborate with partners to grow a thriving arts culture in Logan.
