Hope Horizons Inc

Hope Horizons is a community-driven cancer wellness organisation based in Toowoomba, providing integrated support for people affected by cancer at no out-of-pocket expense. Operating from the Jenny Black Cancer Wellness Centre, it brings together allied health, psychosocial care, creative therapies, exercise physiology, oncology massage, counselling, peer support and wellness programs under one roof to improve quality of life before, during and after treatment. The model is built on compassion, dignity and evidence-informed care — recognising that cancer affects the body, mind, relationships and finances. Hope Horizons is powered by clinicians, specialist volunteers and community partners who share a belief that nobody should walk through cancer alone. The organisation also runs social enterprises, community events and fundraising programs to sustain services without placing financial burden on clients. In addition to direct care, Hope Horizons strengthens community capacity through education, partnerships and advocacy for regional equity in cancer support. Driven by hope rather than diagnosis, Hope Horizons focuses on helping people live well through and beyond cancer — restoring confidence, connection and a sense of control. It exists so that every person facing cancer in the Darling Downs and surrounds has access to holistic care close to home, wrapped in kindness and community.
