About Elevate Hoops NT Incorporated

ABOUT

Elevate Hoops NT Incorporated is a not-for-profit sporting organisation based in Darwin that explores and assists Basketball Athletes ages 7-17 in the Northern Territory.

Creating opportunities for Northern Territory Basketball Athletes is our focus. They need more exposure to the game due to its remote nature and need to take a different approach to the game. We have implemented in our own academy named ‘Lockdown Academy’. This will be a successful pathway to enhance their performance in the sport and ensure they are succeeding in the classroom.

We rely on sponsorship, fundraising, grants & donations to assist with their expenses, which goes towards our athletes and coaching staff to assist with the expenses involved in attending tours & tournaments.

LOCKDOWN ACADEMY

Lockdown Academy offers elite basketball training. We run a year-round academy, where we focus on every facet of the game and break these concepts down into minor parts for players to develop solid habits.

Understanding our athletes is an important part to us to be able to benefit them to improve in all areas and be prepared for their upcoming tours and tournaments. We want our athletes to understand the importance on why they are learning the skills we are teaching them, then be able to implement it in a competitive situation.

We are here to put Northern Territory Athletes on the map and to help guide them to suit up in a college uniform or become a professional basketball player.

Our athletes will not just become better players but be better students.
