We are a not-for-profit organization focused on rescuing sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. We building a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Moura to serve the Banana Shire. Our mission includes sharing wildlife care information, educating the public on habitat preservation, and organizing fundraising initiatives to support the rescue and rehabilitation of animals for their release back into the wild. Such a facility requires
significant funding resources for ongoing running costs to properly care for injured, sick, or orphaned animals.
Why This Project Is Needed:
The Banana Shire currently lacks a dedicated wildlife rehabilitation center. This project will provide essential rescue and rehabilitation services for injured and orphaned wildlife while also protecting threatened and endangered species. Additionally, it will serve as an educational resource, raising public awareness about wildlife care and conservation. The center will also play a crucial role in responding to environmental and natural disasters, ensuring swift and effective wildlife rescue efforts.
