Alcoholics Anonymous is turning 80 in Australia in 2025 – and we’re celebrating!

2025 AA National Convention – ‘From Pioneers to 80 Years’ – 18-21 April 2025. Hosted in Sydney at the Hilton Hotel and Town Hall.

The journey began in 1945 when one alcoholic reached out to another in the heart of Sydney, making us pioneers as the first country outside of the United States to host AA Meetings. Fast forward to today, and we've evolved into an incredibly vibrant, diverse and active national fellowship. We’re planning an epic event, and you’re invited for the magic! Join us for the 80th Anniversary National Convention, right where it all began, in Sydney on April 18-21, with the awesome participation of Al-Anon and Alateen.
