Adelaide Pets Alive! Incorporated

In 2023, Adelaide Pets Alive! was founded and serves the community of Adelaide, South Australia. Fuelled by the urgency to address pet euthanasia, pet homelessness and due to a lack of legal protection for homeless pets, Adelaide Pets Alive! was created to provide a safety net for our furry companions. Adelaide Pets Alive! uses a foster care model. All our homeless pets are cared for in foster homes where they receive individualised love, care and treatment. We believe that foster care plays a significant role in supporting a homeless pets health, behaviour and overall welfare. Adelaide Pets Alive! rehomes dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Our Programs - Mum Cat Program: owned mum cats are desexed for free when her litter has been surrendered to our organisation. Community Kitten Program: provides foster care for unowned kittens, enabling behaviour modification, training, vet work and adoption into loving homes. Neonatal Kitten Program: provides foster care for owned and unowned kittens and some kittens require bottle feeding. Assisted Rehoming Program - working with pet owners to help find their dog or cat a forever home.
