Win a 5-night charter aboard our brand-new luxury Seawind 1370, with all proceeds going to support 4-year-old Lucy and her family.

This cause is deeply personal to us. Lucy’s mum, Cat, is a close friend and part of a long-time local family in our community.

Recently, Cat and Andy received the heartbreaking news no parent should ever face. Their beautiful daughter Lucy has been diagnosed with an aggressive medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer.

Lucy has already undergone major brain surgery at Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane to remove a significant amount of cancer. Tragically, the cancer has also spread to her spine and other areas of her brain. She now faces months of intensive radiation and chemotherapy treatment, far from home and more than 12 hours away from everything familiar in Airlie Beach.

Despite it all, Lucy continues to light up every room with her gorgeous smile, her love of unicorns and princesses, and the incredible bravery she has shown throughout this fight.

As Cat, Andy, little Ella, and Lucy relocate to Brisbane for treatment, the emotional and financial pressure on their family is immense. We want to help ease that burden so they can focus on what matters most, being together and supporting Lucy through this battle.

• All tickets purchased will be in your name and tickets can only be purchased online through www.raffletix.com.au/whitsundayescape2026 and cannot be on-sold. 1000 tickets are available for sale. There is no limit to the number of tickets per entrant, subject to raffle ticket availability.
• If requested by the promoter, entrants must produce proof of purchase, proof of age and residency prior to being awarded the prize.
• Employees and representatives of Whitsunday Escape are not eligible to enter.
• Tickets in the raffle will not be refunded after purchase. In the event of the intervention of any outside agent or event which changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, atomic war, invasion, or strikes, Whitsunday Escape may in its absolute discretion cancel or postpone the draw and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to legislation and the draw will be conducted on a date notified on the RaffleTix and Whitsunday Escape social media pages.
• This promotion ensures 95.6% of ticket price is passed to the benefitting charity, www.lionsclubs.org.au
• The other 4.4% raised will be paid to Raffle Tix as administration fees.

• The Prize will be announced to the winners by phone within 48 hours after the winner has been decided. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss or liability suffered or incurred by any of the prize-winners in relation to The Prize. The winner releases Whitsunday Escape and its employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, The Prize. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of The Prize in anyway whatsoever.

The prize is voucher #83815 and is a travel voucher for a 5-night charter on a Seawind 1370 Sailing Catamaran (Sidetracked) provided by Whitsunday Escape valued at AU$11,000 total.

• Travel voucher number must be advised #83815 and is supplied by Whitsunday Escape Pty Ltd (WE), Suite 16 Coral Sea Marina, Shingley Drive, Airlie Beach QLD 4802. ABN 13098179152.
• No portion of the prize is redeemable for cash. Travel voucher is valid for use concluding on or before 18th Dec 2027. The prize is non-refundable and cannot be used on any other vessel.
• All travel is subject to availability and block out dates apply. Block out dates: 19 September 2026 – 11 October 2026, 24 December 2026 – 9 January 2027, 26 Mar 2027 – 25 April 2027, 26 June 2027 - 18 July 2027, 18 September 2027 – 10 October 2027. Dates not changeable once booked.
• The prize is for the supply of a 5-night bareboat charter on board Seawind 1370 sailing catamaran valued at $11,000. In the event that, “Sidetracked” is not available due to unforeseen circumstances at the time of the winner’s travel booking, Whitsunday Escape reserves the right to substitute a product of similar size and value.
• Travel is subject to and conditional upon acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the Whitsunday Escape Charter Agreement. Travel is subject to the winner or winner’s crew members meeting the minimum experience requirements set out by Whitsunday Escape for the provision of a bareboat charter. If the winner or winner’s crew cannot meet the minimum requirements, they must book a Whitsunday Escape training guide at a cost of $50 per hour (4-hours maximum) or $500 per day (24 hours) at the winner’s own expense.
• Visas, valid passports, additional spending money, meals and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, not listed in the travel prize package descriptions above are the responsibility of the travel prize winner and his/her nominated traveling companions as incurred. It is the winner's responsibility to organise transport to/from the Whitsundays and the airport departure/return point. Prize winner and travel companions must have valid travel insurance for their period of travel.
