West Wyalong is the main town of the Bland Shire in the Riverina region of New South WalesAustralia. West Wyalong is situated at the junction of the Newell and Mid-Western highways. Renowned for its rich agriculture and mining industries.

West Wyalong rugby union club was established in 1954. The West Wyalong Rugby Union Club is a part of the Central West rugby zone in NSW. The rugby club fields a men’s team – the Weevils and a women’s team – the Redbacks.

The club has seen several players representative players over the years, and this continues today with the likes of Tom Ray recently representing NSW Country under 19’s this year.
