Why This Fundraiser Matters

More than just raising funds, Midwest Charity Begins at Home offers financial relief to Midwest people with serious illnesses. Serious illness can place significant financial pressures on a family or individual, adding stress to what is already possibly the most difficult time in a person’s life. 

We’ve been running this charity in the Midwest of WA for the past 17 years to provide support to families when they need it most. We raise the bulk of our funds through our Gala Ball, thanks to the generous support of local businesses and individuals. 

From our inception, we have raised more than $3+ million to help more than 350 families. And we plan to continue the trend going forward. We pride ourselves that all dollars raised stay in the Midwest community.
