Maroochy River Rowing Club Inc Win $15k - Stroke for Success Raffle

The Stroke for Success Raffle gives you the chance to win a $15,000 Grand Cash Prize — while backing Maroochy River Rowing Club athletes as they take on two of Australia’s biggest regattas.

Maroochy River Rowing Club is the Sunshine Coast’s only dedicated youth rowing club, building an ambitious pathway for athletes aged 12 through to university.

This season, our rowers are lining up at:

• NSW State Championships at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith
• Australian Rowing Championships (ARC26) at Lake Barrington, Tasmania

From early mornings on the Maroochy to the start lines in Penrith and Tasmania, this is what they train for — fast racing, tough competition and the chance to test themselves against the best in the country.

But interstate racing doesn’t just require grit. It requires flights, accommodation, entry fees and getting boats safely across state lines and across Bass Strait.

That’s where this raffle comes in.

Every ticket gives you the chance to pocket $15,000 cash — and directly supports the 10 young athletes representing our club at States and Nationals.

Funds raised will contribute directly to travel, accommodation, equipment transport and regatta entry fees, supporting both returning athletes and those stepping onto the interstate stage for the first time.

When you buy a ticket, you’re not just entering to win.

You’re helping launch boats, load trailers and send Sunshine Coast rowers onto the national stage.

Stroke for Success Raffle will be conducted by Maroochy River Rowing Club Inv via its nominee, Raffletix. The benefitting organisation is Maroochy River Rowing Club Inc (ABN 97 414 772 748), a not-for-profit organisation.

The Raffle starts at Monday 23rd February 2026.

The Raffle closes at 31st August 2026 8:30am. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Entry is open to residents of the following States/Territories aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle:

• New South Wales (NSW)
• Queensland (QLD)

Residents of any other State and Territory not listed above are NOT PERMITTED to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.

The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

1. Members of the Management Committee from the Organisation conducting the raffle or benefitting from the raffle;
2. Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix;
3. Any other person directly engaged in managing the raffle or conducting the draw; or

The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• The Organisation conducting the raffle;
• The Organisation benefitting from the raffle.

If requested by the Promoter, a person drawn as the winner of a prize must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a prize. If they do not do this promptly to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, the Promoter may redraw the prize subject to the relevant regulatory approvals, in which case that person forfeits any right to claim the prize.

A maximum of 1667 tickets are available for purchase.

No maximum applies. Participants may purchase as many tickets as they like while the Raffle remains open, and tickets are available.

The prizes, including all relevant Terms and Conditions relating to the prizes, can be seen under the Prizes heading on the raffle website.

Prize values are accurate as at the commencement date for the Raffle. All costs, fees, charges, or expenses associated with the Prize(s), which are not specified, are the responsibility of the Winner(s).

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

Prize images may be for illustrative purposes only and are not necessarily an image of the actual prize.

The Draw will take place at 09:00 30th June 2026, at 20 Muller Park Road, Bli Bli Qld 4560.

The draw will take place in accordance with State Government regulations. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter.

An electronic draw will be conducted.

The raffle draw will be conducted in the presence of at least two independent witnesses. Any committee member with an immediate family member who has entered the raffle will not participate in the conduct of the draw.

Notification and Publication of Winners

Winners will be contacted by phone and email within 3 business days of being drawn. The Prize Winner's name will be published on the Raffle Website within 3 business days of being drawn.

Winners have twelve (12) months from the draw date in which to claim their prize.

If the raffle is open in Queensland, and the Winner resides in Queensland, the Winner has thirty-six (36) months from the draw date in which to claim their prize.

Winners are to contact the Promoter to claim their prize.

If you are a Winner, you are responsible for your use of the Prize, including complying with all relevant laws and any applicable terms and conditions of use.

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to redraw another winner. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

In the event of a dispute, the raffle Promoter will attempt to resolve the dispute directly with the Complainant. If a satisfactory outcome between the parties is unable to be achieved, the Promoter will liaise directly with the relevant State and Territory Authorities.

The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners reserve the right to send marketing communications to any entrant who opts-in to receive communications from the Promoter and its authorised marketing partners. The entrant can advise the Promoter at any time if they no longer wish to receive this information, by contacting the Promoter's Privacy Officer at fundraising@mrrc.club The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners may continue to send communications to the entrant for an indefinite period unless and until advised otherwise by the entrant.
