Parish of St. Paraskevi, Taigum 'St. Paraskevi' Consecration Raffle 2025
The service will be held on Saturday, 26 July 2025 and is the first consecration of a Greek Orthodox Church in Queensland in over 60 years. A consecration is a formal ecclesiastical event where a place of worship is dedicated to God and set apart for sacred purposes. The primary purpose being to formally dedicate the church building to God and its use for worship and service. This occasion only occurs once in the lifetime of a church.
