ABOUT THE RAFFLE

Promoter

St Paisios Mosaic Icon Raffle will be conducted by the The Hellenic Orthodox Community of Parramatta and Districts. The benefitting organisation is The Hellenic Orthodox Community of Parramatta and Districts (ABN 94 000 387 324). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.

Promotion Period

The Raffle starts at 12 am (AEST) on Monday, 11 August 2025. The Raffle closes at 7.30pm (AEST) on Sunday, 21 September 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is currently open to residents in New South Wales (NSW), Queensland (QLD), aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle. 

Residents in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Victoria (VIC), Tasmania (TAS), and Western Australia (WA), Northern Territory (NT) and South Australia (SA) are not permitted to enter the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.

The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

1. Members of the Management Committee conducting the raffle from The HOCPD;
2. Employees of The HOCPD;
3. Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix; or
4. Any other person directly engaged in managing the organisation of the raffle or conducting the draw. 

The Prizes

The prizes, including all relevant Terms and Conditions relating to the prizes, can be seen under the Prizes heading on the raffle website. This includes:

• First prize is a Mosaic Icon of St Paisios valued at $15 000

Prizes are not transferable and non-cash prizes are not exchangeable for cash. Prize images may be for illustrative purposes only and are not necessarily an image of the actual prize.

Maximum number of tickets

7996 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $50 per ticket.

Draw Details

The Draw will take place at approx 9 pm (AEST) on Sunday, 21 September 2024, at 163 - 165 George St Parramatta, NSW 2150. The Raffle will close at 7:30 pm.

Draw Method

A numbered Raffle Ticket will be drawn by a computer based random raffle generator. 

Notification and Publication of Winners

Winner will be contacted by phone and email within 3 business days of being drawn. Prize winners' name will be published on the Raffle Website and the Lets Go Greek Festival Parramatta Facebook page within 3 business days of being drawn.

Prize Claim Date

Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize. 

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
