Opening Doors Project
Our Opening Doors Projects provide specialised accommodation for people with disability who need 24-hour support, enabling them to continue to live in their community. Our homes and units are specifically designed to maximise independence for people with disability, are centrally located, close to public transport and community facilities.
Community Living & Respite Services (CLRS) is raising funds to develop our 6th Opening Doors Project.
These homes provide much needed housing options for people with disability, promoting independence and providing peace of mind for families.
Additionally, they create employment opportunities during the construction phase, and ongoing employment options for disability support staff.
Our Opening Doors Projects, have so far created 15 homes, enabling 22 people with disability to live the life they choose, safely and well supported in our community.
To support the Opening Doors Project or to register your interest in living in one of our homes, please contct us on (03) 5480 2388 or reception@clrs.org.au.
Donations are tax deductible and can be made online from our website, in person at 26A Percy Street Echuca or mailed to PO Box 424 Echuca VIC 3564.
