Resting at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef, Lady Elliot Island is a living sanctuary. A coral cay surrounded by vibrant reef systems, manta rays, turtles, and extraordinary marine life, protected through careful stewardship and deep respect for the natural world. It is rare, precious, and uniquely Australian.

This raffle celebrates that rarity.

It also celebrates something else that is rare, precious, and deeply worth protecting — our children.

Our Moon’s Mission

We are Our Moon’s Mission, a Queensland-based not-for-profit founded by parents fighting for our daughter, Tallulah Moon. Tallulah lives with a rare and progressive genetic disease that affects her movement, independence, and future. Like many families in the rare disease community, we were told there was no treatment, and no timeline for hope.

We chose to act.

We started our foundation 4 years ago, and with world-class scientists, have developed a potential treatment for the progressive disease that doctors once called 'untreatable'.

Living just off the coast of this extraordinary reef, we wake each day grounded by both beauty and urgency. We live every day with our beautiful girl's future front of mind: advocating, fundraising, and working alongside scientists and clinicians to bring a world-first gene therapy to clinical trial - a gene therapy that could stop this progressive disease in its tracks.

This mission is deeply personal, but it is not just for Tallulah Moon.

By pushing this treatment forward, we are working toward a clinical trial that has the potential to help children all over the world who live with the same rare condition. Families who are waiting, watching, and hoping for something to change.

The prize

The lucky winner will receive a $2,300 Lady Elliot Island experience for two, which may be redeemed as:

• A spectacular Great Barrier Reef day tour from Redcliffe (Brisbane), including scenic flights, reef activities, and a full buffet lunch
  or

• Put towards return flights and accommodation from Hervey Bay, allowing the winner to shape their own island escape
