Since 1996 the Outback Air Race (OAR) has raised over $4 million for the RFDS and supporting the raffle means the 2025 OAR can raise even more funds for the RFDS.  OAR isn’t really a race – but it does get very competitive, although it is also a lot of fun for the participants. Every team fundraises for the RFDS in the twelve months leading up to the race as well as the OAR Raffle. The "race" is essentially a navigationally challenging and self funded holiday for the Pilots and teams, they get to fly to and meet people in parts of Australia that many do not get to see.

The Outback Air Race Raffle 2025 will be conducted by Australian Air Race Events Inc (ABN 84 634 282 096), via its nominee, Stuart Payne.

The Raffle starts at 00:01am AEST, 7th May 2025.

The Raffle closes at 11:59pm AEST, Sunday 7 September 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Entry is open to residents of the following States/Territories aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle:

• Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
• New South Wales (NSW)
• Queensland (QLD)
• Tasmania (TAS)
• Victoria (VIC)
• Western Australia (WA)

Residents of any other State and Territory not listed above are NOT PERMITTED to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.

The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

1. Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix;
2. Any other person directly engaged in managing the raffle or conducting the draw; or

The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• The Organisation conducting the raffle;
• The Organisations benefiting from the raffle.

If requested by the Promoter, a person drawn as the winner of a prize must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a prize. If they do not do this promptly to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, the Promoter may redraw the prize subject to the relevant regulatory approvals, in which case that person forfeits any right to claim the prize.

Five thousand (5,000) tickets are available for purchase.

No maximum applies. Participants may purchase as many tickets as they like while the Raffle remains open, and tickets are available.

The prizes, including all relevant Terms and Conditions relating to the prizes, can be seen under the Prizes heading on the raffle website.

Prize value is accurate as at the commencement date for the Raffle. All costs, fees, charges, or expenses associated with the Prize, which are not specified, are the responsibility of the Winner.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter will substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value (at the Promoter’s absolute discretion), subject to regulatory approval.

Prize images may be for illustrative purposes only and are not necessarily an image of the actual prize.

The Draw will take place at 9:00pm AEST on Monday 8th September, at The Carnarvon Hotel, 121 Olivia Terrace Carnarvon WA 6701.

The draw will take place in accordance with various State and Territory Government regulations. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter.

An electronic draw will be conducted. First prize will be drawn. There is only one prize.

Winner will be contacted by phone and email within 3 business days of being drawn. The Prize Winner's name will be published on the Raffle Website and the Outback Air Race website and Facebook page within 3 business days of being drawn. The raffle result will be published in the West Australian newspaper on 12 September 2025.

Winners are to contact the Promoter to claim their prize.

If you are a Winner, you are responsible for your use of the Prize, including complying with all relevant laws and any applicable terms and conditions of use.

Winners have twelve (12) months from the draw date in which to contact The Classic Safari Company to claim their prize.

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right to donate the net value of the prize to benefitting organisations.

In the event of a dispute, the raffle Promoter will attempt to resolve the dispute directly with the Complainant. If a satisfactory outcome between the parties is unable to be achieved, the Promoter will liaise directly with the relevant State and Territory Authorities.
