Promoter

The Outback Air Race Raffle 2022 Raffle will be conducted by Australian Air Race Events Inc (ABN 84 634 282 096) via it's nominee Stuart Payne.  The benefiting organisation is Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (ABN 74 438 059 643). The benefiting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.

Beneficiary

Net proceeds of the raffle will be in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (Royal Flying Doctor Service).

The Outback Air Race is an aviation time trial through the remote Australian Outback. The Outback Air Race has raised funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service since 1996. Competitors and spectators have raised over $3.1 million. Funds from each race go towards outfitting RFDS aircraft with essential medical equipment, vital for treating sick and injured patients across Australia.

The Raffle starts at 9.00 am AEST on Saturday, 01 May 2022. The Raffle closes at 5.00 pm AEST on Friday, 9 September 2022. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of the Western Australia, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria, aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.

Tickets cannot be purchased by Directors, management, employees, contactors (or members of their immediate family) of the Promoter, or the Promoter’s related entities or any of the Promoter’s agents, including RaffleTix, directly involved in the organisation of the Raffle (as determined by the Promoter).

The Prize

Outback by Air Tour for 2 people - Winner to choose from a tour with Outback by Air.  Prize includes return economy airfares for two people from the capital city of the winners State to Sydney.  Airfares not redeemable if not required by the winner.  The prize is for 2 people on a twin share basis.  

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

Maximum number of tickets

5000  tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $20.00 each.

Draw Details

The Draw will take place on Sunday, 11 September 2022 at 8:00 pm AEST at 23 Surf Club Rd, Coffs Harbour NSW, 2450.

Draw Method

A numbered Raffle Ticket stub will be drawn at random from a barrel.

Notification and Publication of Winners

The winner will be contacted by phone and email within four (4) business days of being drawn, and listed on this website and the Australian Air Race Events Inc and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Facebook pages. Please check the website and the aforementioned Facebook pages for details.

Prize Claim Date

Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize.  Winners are to contact raffle@outbackairrace.com.au in order to claim their prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.  

RaffleTix

There is an agreement with RaffleTix (ABN 24 623 531 340) to promote or conduct this raffle for reward.
