About the Raffle

Promoter

The 2022 Kangaroos Major Raffle will be conducted by North Melbourne Football Club Limited.  The benefitting organisation is  North Melbourne Football Club Limited (ABN 21 006 468 962 ). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.

Beneficiary

Net proceeds of the raffle will be in support of North Melbourne Football Club Limited.  The 2022 Kangaroos Major Raffle is a cornerstone of the Kangaroos fundraising program, with contributions directed towards all aspects of football operations, resourcing, talent retention and development of the club’s four teams – AFL, AFLW, VFL and VFLW

The Raffle starts on Monday, 02 May 2022.  The Raffle closes at 10am (AEST) on Monday, 25 July 2022. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Victoria, Northern Territory,  Tasmania, aged 18 years or older.

Maximum number of tickets

80,000 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $5.00 each or $75.00 for 20 tickets.

Draw Details

Two separate draws for the Early Bird Prizes will be held at 2pm (AEST) on Sunday, 15 May 2022 and Sunday, 29 May 2022.

The 2022 Kangaroos Major Raffle draw will take place at 12:00 pm (AEST) on Monday, 25 July 2022 at North Melbourne Football Club, 204-206 Arden Street, North Melbourne, VIC 3051.

Draw Method

An electronic draw will be conducted .  First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizing in descending order.

Notification and Publication of Winners

Winner will be contacted by phone and email within 2 business days and listed on this website and the North Melbourne Football Club website at www.nmfc.com.au from 11.00am (AEST) on Wednesday, 27 July 2022.  Please check the websites for details.

Prize Claim Date

Winners have 3 months from the date of the draw in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT.

If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight on Thursday, 25 August 2022  a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 12pm AEST on Monday, 29 August 2022, at North Melbourne Football Club, 204-206 Arden Street, North Melbourne, VIC 3051. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

There is an agreement with RaffleTix (ABN 24 623 531 340) to promote or conduct this raffle for reward.
