Lions Club of Malanda Malanda Lions Duck Race

When you buy a ticket, the number corresponds to a rubber duck. On Saturday 14th December, all the numbered ducks are put in a large bag and dropped into the North Johnstone River at the Malanda Falls. They then float down the river to the finishing line where the numbers of the first 10 are recorded and the ticket holders notified of their prizes.
This Race is part of Waterpolo Queensland and Malanda Chamber of Commerce's Flat Out at the Falls weekend competition. It's great fun, so if you're in the area, please drop in and join the festivities!
