Cedar and Ferny are two kittens for whom your support meant the difference between life and death.

Rescued from a backyard with two siblings who have since been adopted, Cedar and Ferny both had a deformed hind leg, gastrointestinal issues and insufficient bladders.

Their care was involved and messy; they have both now had their affected leg removed, and they are in recovery before going up for adoption. 

Thankfully their bladders have developed now too and they are both "the most irresistably lovable kittens in the world".  (Quote is from their carers - see our newsletter for their full beautiful story.)

Care like this is not cheap and their finder came to CAF because she knows we are no kill - we would never let a kitty die when the means exist to save them.

Thanks to your support Cedar and Ferny will find their own furrever homes soon.
