"Each year our families choose a foundation or charity to support. We have supported the Evie Grace Foundation in the past and knowing the story of the Founder - local Colac girl Maddi Kent - and watching their social media posts tugged at our heart strings right from the start.
We believe it’s because we have our own children.
In the world we live in we can give our children almost everything they would like and they certainly have everything they need. For the street children in East Africa, this isn’t as straight forward or rarely the case. This is where we can help. Generosity is known to make you feel good and kindness is easy. Instead of that $4.50 coffee before work this week or that $10 sandwich for lunch, why not instead grab a ticket for this raffle to support this wonderful charity." - Celeste Clarke & Rose Allan
Every prize in the raffle has been very generously donated by local Colac businesses meaning 100% of the funds raised go to the Evie Grace Foundation to support their work with street children in East Africa. During COVID-19 they are supporting street children by running street feeding programs, purchasing face masks for the children on the streets, providing them with warm clothing and shoes and partnering with organisations that are able to rescue them from the dangers of living on the streets.
In the past 14 months the Evie Grace Foundation have been helping Global Hope Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre to fundraise for land which has now overwhelmingly reached $80,000 which is going to enable them to move out of their rental and build their own centre.
The Evie Grace Foundation also has the dream of starting a Therapeutic Home for Street Girls in the future to help even more children and youths get off the streets and safe from becoming victims of Human Trafficking.
We so greatly appreciate each and every donation/raffle ticket purchase as it means we are able to continue running our life changing projects.
