Kathryn's paintings are drawn from lived experience of a place with a hint of imagination. Influenced by the cubist movement and the way they reduced their subjects to geometric forms, Colour palettes are arrived by saturating hints of colours found in nature. By combining these two approaches in tandem with strong graphic qualities and use of pattern, Kathryn's work straddles abstraction and representational approaches to painting.

Ideally situated a short drive from Lorne and just outside the community of Deans Marsh, Cedarwood Cottage sits among greenery on a 12-acre regenerative farm. Previously part of an old Dairy farm in the rolling green hills, the block boasts easy access to the best parts of the Otways and Surf Coast without the traffic or hustle.

The cottage sleeps four comfortably, with a light-filled kitchen/living/dining space to use at your leisure. Play board games by the log fire, enjoy a barbecue outdoors, listen to the birdlife on the deck, visit the animals nearby, or head out on an adventure! You might even spy the occasional echidna waddling past your window.

I captured this image on my first photography trip along the Great Ocean Road. I was drawn in to this view by the colours in the stormy early morning sky. As I scanned the vista I noticed those same colours were leading me to the dramatic cliffs and the nearby sea stacks, forever being eroded by the power of the waves. What a view! Perhaps this was the moment I fell in love with the landscapes of the surf coast.

Jane is both an artist and an environmentalist. She is inspired by the fragile beauty of nature and uses a combination of photography, digital painting and graphic design tools to create digital art inspired by nature. A tiny home nestled in our orchard. It is tiny, 3 mt sq. It is suitable for an overnight stay on our farm. (A comfortable double bed, chair, pot belly stove. )This tiny home was created by Rob Scott (Architect and Builder) who designed my truck houses. Fruit is ripe on the fruit trees over the summer/ autumn months. The house is private and surrounded by trees. The ducks are your neighbours. Shared Bathroom is 10 metres away and includes mini fridge, tea/ coffee making facilities.

You will receive a mixture of our Early and Late Harvest from 2022. Full of bright and complex flavours.

• Early Harvest bottles heroes apple. It delivers a clean, fresh and refreshing texture

• Late Harvest bottles deliver a blend of apples, pears and crab apples to build a more complex and dry characteristic cider which will intrigue the taste buds.

Each batch of cider undergoes a slow, cool ferment before ?months of bottle aging. The product completes a full? fermentation resulting in a crisp, dry drink. ?All fruit processed in Alvie Cider has been organically grown.
