Picture the backstreets of Newtown, Sydney. Graffiti covered roller doors down every alleyway, and behind one of them, tucked away from the hustle of King Street sits a little brewery with two mates having a go at brewing the first batch of Young Henrys beer to ever exist.

Your 13-person brewery and tasting experience allows you to learn more about the history while sampling some of their finer tipples.

Local Sydney artist, Tony Giles, who also happens to work at Gig Buddies Sydney, has donated an oil painting to the raffle.

Tony has been exhibiting his art since 2001 in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra. Since working at Gig Buddies, he has focused less on painting and more on pairing gig buddies and building the project with the amazing GB team, volunteers and participants.

Within 15 minutes of arriving, we give you an interactive safety demo.
This demo will teach you how to hold the ropes for you climbing partner, catch falls, and climb safely!

After this you will have free use of the gym for the day with supervision from our staff!

More about your session (from the Sydney Trapeze School website) It starts with an introduction and full body warm-up, followed by tuition on a low stationary trapeze bar. Students are then attached to their safety harness ready to climb up and swing off our 8 meter high platform. All students will have an opportunity to practice ‘Flying Tricks’ throughout the class. Classes end with the students attempting to be caught by a ‘catcher’ mid air if they are ready.
