The raffle prize includes return flights and accommodation for two nights where you get to meet the Hall of Famer and 4-time NBA championship winner at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on Thursday 25 August 2022.

All money raised will go to Binar Futures, a Perth-based not-for-profit organisation that began by providing basketball pathways for indigenous and underprivileged youth in a culturally safe environment. Today, Binar has successfully grown to now have over 1,400 young people (85% Aboriginal) involved in the Perth Metro area and its surrounds and provide education, leadership, employment, and cultural programs. Binar was the winner of the Perth NAIDOC Awards 2022 Program of the Year.

The beloved NBA champion and business mogul will be speaking on tips for success, offering unplugged and uncensored conversations about his life, and touching on many unspoken moments throughout his decorated career on and off the court. 

'An Evening with Shaquille O’Neal' will offer fans an insight into O’Neal’s illustrious career with a Q&A session taking place within the seminar.

Standing at well over two meters tall, O’Neal was a formidable force during his 19-year career for six teams, winning the NBA Rookie of the Year before going on to win four championships and becoming a 15-time All-Star and NBA MVP. More recently being selected to be in the NBA 75th Anniversary team alongside the greatest players in the league’s history. 

The sports star later earned a PhD in Leadership and Education and used his newfound knowledge to give back to the community through various philanthropic programs.

About the Raffle

The 'An Evening with Shaquille O'Neal' Raffle will be conducted by Binar Futures Limited (ABN 90 655 240 323). The Promoter is a not-for-profit organisation.

The Raffle starts at 7.00pm WST on 27th July 2022. The Raffle closes at 7.00pm WST on 21 August 2022. No entries will be accepted after this time.

The Raffle is for an event on 25th August 2022 in Melbourne so the winner will need to be available to depart Perth on the 24th August 2022 and return on the 26th August 2022.

Entry is open to residents of Western Australia, aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.

Note: Due to government regulations, residents of other States and Territories are not permitted to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.

1,000 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $100 each.

Draw Method: A random electronic draw will take place at 7pm WST on Sunday, 21 August 2022. First and only prize drawn first.  

Winner of the Prize will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 business days of the Draw Date, by 22 August 2022. Prize winners’ name will be published on the Raffle Website and on www.binarsports.com.au and the Binar Futures Facebook page, LinkedIn and Instagram pages on 22 August 2022.
