Promoter

The 2025 Essendon Football Club Major Raffle will be conducted by the Essendon Football Club. The benefitting organisation is Essendon Football Club, ABN 22 004 286 373. The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.

Promotion Period

The Raffle starts at 11am AEDT on Wednesday, 5th March 2025. The Raffle closes at 11am AEST on Monday, 12th May 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of the following States/Territories: aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.

• Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
• New South Wales (NSW)
• Queensland (QLD)
• South Australia (SA)
• Tasmania (TAS)
• Victoria (VIC)

Residents of any other States and Territories not listed above are not permitted to enter the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.

The following people are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• Employees, office bearers or members of the Management Committee from the Organisation conducting the raffle or benefitting from the raffle.
• Employees and Contractors of RaffleTix.
• Any other person directly engaged in managing the raffle or conducting the draw; or
• Any immediate family members of any of the above. Immediate family means a person's spouse (including de-facto spouse), parents, children, and any other family members residing at the same premises as the person.

The following entities are not eligible to enter and are not eligible for any prizes:

• The Organisation conducting the raffle.
• The Organisation benefiting from the raffle.

Maximum number of tickets

13,590 tickets are available for purchase.

Draw Details

The Draw will take place at 11am AEST on Monday, 12th May 2025 at Essendon Football Club Headquarters, the NEC Hangar, 32 Watson's Drive, Melbourne Airport VIC 3045.

Draw Method

An electronic draw will be conducted. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizes in descending order.

Notification and Publication of Winners

Prize Winners will be notified by telephone and in writing within two (2) days of the Draw Date held on Monday, 12th May 2025 at 11am. Prize Winners names will be published on the Raffle Website and the Essendon Football Club website and Facebook pages.

Prize Claim Date

Prize 1. Grand Prize: A ‘Weekend Away with the Bombers’ for Four (4) people 

If the Prize Winner resides in Queensland and does not claim their prize within one (1) week of the draw the Prize Winner and the Promoter will negotiate a prize of equal or greater value. The Promoter guarantees that either the original prize or one of equal or greater value will be awarded to the Prize Winner.

If the Prize Winner resides in any other state and does not claim their prize within one week or the Entry is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to undertake a redraw or sell that prize. In the case of a redraw, the redraw will be held in the same manner as the original draw on 19/05/2025 at 32 Watson Drive, Melbourne Airport, VIC 3045. In the case of a sale, proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes or paid to the Treasurer of the relevant state for payment into the applicable Consolidated Fund. The Promoter will not sell the prize and will proceed with a redraw where the Prize Winner is in the ACT.

Prize 2. 2025 Guard of Honour Game Day Experience for Four (4) people including reserved seating & Prize 3. 2025 Marvel Home Game Presidents Function Tickets for Four (4) people 

If the Prize Winner resides in Queensland and does not claim their prize within one month of the draw the Prize Winner and the Promoter will negotiate a prize of equal or greater value. The Promoter guarantees that either the original prize or one of equal or greater value will be awarded to the Prize Winner.

If the Prize Winner resides in any other state and does not claim their prize within one month or the Entry is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to undertake a redraw or sell that prize. In the case of a redraw, the redraw will be held in the same manner as the original draw on 12/06/2025 at 32 Watson Drive, Melbourne Airport, VIC 3045. In the case of a sale, proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes or paid to the Treasurer of the relevant state for payment into the applicable Consolidated Fund. The Promoter will not sell the prize and will proceed with a redraw where the Prize Winner is in the ACT.

Prizes 4 & 5. 2025 AFL Men’s Team Signed Gurnsey and Prizes 7 & 8. 2025 AFL Men’s Team signed Football

Prize Winners have twelve (12) months from the draw date in which to claim their prize. If the raffle is open in QLD, and the Prize Winner resides in Queensland, the Prize Winner has thirty-six (36) months from the draw date in which to claim their prize.

For Prize Winners in any other state, if the Prize Winner does not claim their prize within 12 months, or the Entry is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to undertake a redraw or sell that prize. In the case of a redraw, the redraw will be held in the same manner as the original draw on 12/05/2026, at 32 Watson Drive, Melbourne Airport, VIC 3045. In the case of a sale, proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes or paid to the Treasurer of the relevant state for payment into the applicable Consolidated Fund. The Promoter will not sell the prize and will proceed with a redraw where the Prize Winner is in the ACT.

Prize 6. 2025 Crichton Medal Tickets for Two (2) people

If the Prize Winner resides in Queensland and does not claim their prize within one month of the draw the Prize Winner and the Promoter will negotiate a prize of equal or greater value. The Promoter guarantees that either the original prize or one of equal or greater value will be awarded to the Prize Winner.

If the Prize Winner resides in any other state and does not claim their prize within one month or the Entry is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to undertake a redraw or sell that prize. In the case of a redraw, the redraw will be held in the same manner as the original draw on 12/06/2025 at 32 Watson Drive, Melbourne Airport, VIC 3045. In the case of a sale, proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes or paid to the Treasurer of the relevant state for payment into the applicable Consolidated Fund.
