The CFC Sportsfishing and Fish Stocking Raffle raises money to help the Canberra Fishermans Club stock Canberra’s lakes with native fish fingerlings (Murray Cod and Yellow Belly) and promote sportsfishing in the region.
By buying a ticket, you will help populate our local lakes with more Murray Cod and Yellow Belly, improve the fishing for years to come, and promote sportsfishing through local competitions and fishing clinics.
About the Raffle
The Raffle starts at 12.00 PM AEDT on Sunday, 01 January 2023. The Raffle closes at 3.30 PM AEDT on Sunday, 19 March 2023. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Promoter
The CFC Sportsfishing & Fish Stocking Raffle will be conducted by the Canberra Fishermans Club Incorporated (ABN 49 486 060 185). The benefiting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of NSW and ACT aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.
Tickets cannot be purchased by any individual involved in the organisation of the raffle or the draw (including RaffleTix). In addition, tickets cannot be purchased by the association conducting or benefiting from the raffle, or its Management Committee, including immediate family members.

1st Prize - Hobie Mirage Passport 10.5 Kayak (RRP $2,300)
2nd Prize - Oztrail 80L Dual Zone Fridge/Freezer (RRP $1,199)
3rd Prize - Weber Baby Q Gas BBQ (RRP $389)
4th Prize - Kings Big Daddy Delux Double Swag (RRP $311.00)
The total prize pool value is $4,199.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Maximum number of tickets
4,000 tickets available for purchase at a cost of:
1 ticket for $5

Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 4.00 PM AEDT on Sunday, 19 March 2023 at Lake Tuggeranong Sea Scouts Hall, Mortimer Lewis Drive, Greenway ACT 2900.
Draw Method
An electronic draw will take place in accordance with State Government regulations. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizes in descending order.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winners will be notified by telephone and in writing within three (3) business days of being drawn (by Wednesday, 22 March 2023). Prize Winners’ names will be published on the Raffle Website and the Canberra Fishermans Club Inc Website and Facebook page.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have twelve (12) months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize. Unless the winner is from the ACT.
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight AEDT on Wednesday, 19 April 2023, a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 4.00 PM AEDT, at 25 National Circuit Forrest ACT 2603. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.
Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
