The 7th Border Collie National will be held in South Australia in October 2027, bringing together Border Collie enthusiasts from across Australia for four days celebrating one of the world’s most versatile dog breeds.

From Conformation, Agility, Jumping and Games to Herding, Obedience, Rally, Scent Work, Tricks, Dances With Dogs and SprintDog, the National showcases the incredible athleticism, intelligence and versatility of the Border Collie through a diverse range of canine sports and activities.

Hosted by the Border Collie Club of South Australia, this volunteer-run event requires thousands of hours of planning and significant investment to provide competitors, spectators and supporters with an exceptional experience.

By purchasing a raffle ticket, you’ll be helping us showcase both the Border Collie and South Australia while going into the draw to win over $9,300 in fantastic prizes, including a Savel Deluxe Twin Tank Auto Fill Hydrobath, a TopDog Show Trolley, and a $500 VEBO Pet Supplies Voucher.

By purchasing a ticket in this raffle, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This raffle is promoted by Border Collie Club of SA Inc (ABN 24 571 136 970) (Promoter).

The name of the raffle is “Border Collie Club of SA National Fund Raiser”.

Entry is open only to natural persons aged 18 years or over at the time of ticket purchase who are residents of Australia, excluding residents of the Northern Territory & Western Australia. Entries from Northern Territory & Western Australia residents are not permitted and, if received, will be void and refunded.

Committee members of Border Collie Club of SA Inc are not permitted to purchase raffle tickets or otherwise enter this raffle. Any ticket purchased by a committee member will be treated as invalid and the purchase amount will be refunded. The Promoter may also exclude any person directly involved in the administration or conduct of the raffle where required by law.

The raffle will open at 12:01 am (ACST) on Monday 6 July 2026 and will close at 2:59 pm (ACDT) on Saturday 12 December 2026, unless sold out earlier or cancelled in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Tickets will be sold online via the RaffleTix platform. A ticket purchase is only valid once payment has been successfully processed and the entrant has been issued a valid ticket number.

Tickets are $20.00 each. A maximum of 2,345 tickets will be offered for sale. All tickets carry an equal chance of winning.

A minimum of 500 tickets must be sold for the raffle to proceed. If fewer than 500 tickets are sold by the close of ticket sales, the raffle will be cancelled and all ticket purchases will be refunded in full to the original payment method used for purchase, or by another reasonable method determined by the Promoter if the original payment method is not available.

The total prize pool is AUD $9,382.50.

The prizes are:
(a) Major Prize: Savel Hydrobath Deluxe Twin Tank Auto Fill valued at AUD $6,982.50;
(b) Second Prize: TopDog Show Trolley in the winner’s choice of colour valued at AUD $1,900.00; and
(c) Third Prize: VEBO voucher valued at AUD $500.00.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash unless required by law. If a prize or any part of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value, subject to any legal requirements. Any ancillary costs associated with claiming, collecting, registering, installing or using a prize unless expressly stated are the responsibility of the winner. The Border Collie Club of SA Inc. will cover freight costs to a maximum of AUD $1,000 in total. Any freight, delivery, handling or related costs above that amount will be the responsibility of the winner.

The draw will take place at 3:00 pm (ACDT) on Saturday 12 December 2026 and will be conducted via live Facebook feed on the Border Collie Club of SA Inc Facebook page. If you wish to attend the draw in person, it will be held at the Dogs SA Grounds, David Roche Park, Cromwell Road, Kilburn, South Australia. The draw will be conducted by random draw. The first valid ticket drawn will win the Major Prize, the second valid ticket drawn will win the Second Prize, and the third valid ticket drawn will win the Third Prize. Winners do not need to be present to win.

If an invalid, duplicate, incomplete or ineligible entry is drawn, or if a drawn ticket belongs to a person who is not eligible to enter, a further draw will be conducted immediately until a valid winning ticket is drawn for the relevant prize.

All winners will be notified in writing within seven (7) days of the draw using the contact details supplied at the time of ticket purchase. Notification may be issued by email or post. Winner notifications will be published on Monday 14 December 2026 via The Border Collie Club of South Australia Inc. Facebook page, as well as on the Border Collie Club of South Australia Inc website at bccsa.org.au.

Winners may be required to provide proof of identity, age and residency before a prize is delivered or made available. Prizes will be delivered, arranged for collection or otherwise provided as soon as reasonably practicable after winner verification. The VEBO voucher is subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the voucher issuer.

If any prize remains unclaimed by 5:00 pm (ACDT) on Friday 12 March 2027, or if the Promoter is unable to successfully contact a winner after making reasonable efforts, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize redraw at 3:00 pm (ACDT) on Saturday 13 March 2027, via live Facebook feed on the Border Collie Club of SA Inc Facebook page, subject to any legal or permit requirements. Any redraw winner will be notified in writing within seven (7) days of the redraw.

If this raffle cannot proceed as planned, including due to technical issues, platform failure, fraud, regulatory action, insufficient ticket sales or any event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the raffle, subject to applicable law. If the raffle is cancelled, ticket purchases will be refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or as otherwise required by law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Subject to that, the Promoter is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted or delayed entries, communications or prize claims, or for technical failures affecting the RaffleTix platform or related systems.

The Promoter collects personal information from entrants for the purposes of conducting the raffle, verifying eligibility, allocating tickets, contacting winners, delivering prizes and complying with legal obligations. The Promoter may disclose personal information to RaffleTix, payment processors, prize suppliers, delivery providers and regulatory authorities where reasonably necessary for those purposes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, subject to any mandatory laws applying in the State or Territory in which an eligible entrant resides.

Any permit, licence, authority or approval number required by law for the lawful promotion of this raffle in a participating State or Territory will be published in the relevant advertising and/or on the raffle sales page as required.
