AMK was started in 2015 by a small number of passionate women who were dedicated to rescuing homeless cats and kittens. From there, the group has gradually expanded to over 70 foster carers and volunteers. In 2024, we marked our 4000th adoption! By January 2026 we have marked our 5,000th intake. Animals in our care are fully vetted prior to adoption. This means they are wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. As we are not shelter-based, all animals are placed in a nurturing foster household while they await their forever homes. AMK is a charity. Adoption fees, donations, and fundraising are solely used to cover veterinary fees and other costs associated with running the organization. We thank you for your support every little bit counts!
