2027 AA NATCON GEELONG RAFFLE

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Promoter and Beneficiary

The 2027 AA NatCon Geelong Raffle (“Raffle”) is conducted by Alcoholics Anonymous via its nominee, the 2027 AA NatCon Convention Fundraising Committee (“Promoter”).

The organisation benefiting from the Raffle is the General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous, ABN 77 001 417 125, a not-for-profit organisation.

Raffle Promotion Period

The Raffle commences on Sunday 27 September 2026.

Ticket sales close at 4:00 pm on Saturday 19 December 2026. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Ticket sales may close earlier if all available tickets are sold.

Raffle Website

The Raffle will be conducted using the RaffleTix platform. The official Raffle Website will be the RaffleTix webpage nominated for the 2027 AA NatCon Geelong Raffle.

Eligible States

Entry is open to persons aged 18 years or older who are residents of:

• Victoria (VIC)
• New South Wales (NSW)
• Queensland (QLD)
• Tasmania (TAS)
• South Australia (SA)

Residents of Australian States and Territories not listed above are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win a prize.

Entry Restrictions

The following people are not eligible to enter or receive a prize:

• Members of the management committee of the organisation conducting the Raffle or benefiting from the Raffle;
• Employees and contractors of RaffleTix directly involved in the conduct of the Raffle;
• Any other person directly engaged in managing the Raffle or conducting the draw; and
• Immediate family members of any of the above.

For these Terms and Conditions, immediate family includes a person's spouse or de facto partner, parents, children and any other family members residing at the same premises.

The organisation conducting the Raffle and the organisation benefiting from the Raffle are not eligible to enter or receive a prize.

Verification Requirements

If requested by the Promoter, a person drawn as a winner must provide reasonable proof of identity, age and eligible State of residence before being awarded their prize.

If satisfactory evidence is not provided promptly, the Promoter will deal with the prize in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Tickets

A maximum of 1,500 tickets are available for purchase.

Tickets are available at the following prices:

• 1 ticket – $20
• 3 tickets – $50
• 5 tickets – $80

There is no maximum number of tickets an eligible entrant may purchase while tickets remain available.

Prize Details

The total advertised prize pool is $5,000.

First Prize – Bali 2027 AA Round Up Experience for Two - 27th March to 29th March 2027

Maximum total value: AUD $3,000

First Prize is a travel package for two adults to attend the 2027 Bali AA Round Up, with a maximum total prize value of AUD $3,000.

First Prize includes:

• Two registrations to the 2027 Bali AA Convention;
• Three consecutive nights' accommodation for two adults; and
• Return economy airfares for two adults from Australia to Bali, Indonesia.

The Promoter will arrange or purchase the two Convention registrations directly.

Flights and accommodation will be arranged through a travel provider nominated by the Promoter. The maximum amount available for flights and accommodation will be the balance remaining from the AUD $3,000 maximum prize value after the cost of the two Convention registrations has been deducted.

If the cost of the winner's selected or available flights, accommodation, upgrades or other requested travel arrangements would cause the total cost of First Prize to exceed AUD $3,000, the winner will be responsible for paying the difference directly to the relevant travel provider.

The Promoter's total contribution toward First Prize will not exceed AUD $3,000.

If the total cost of the supplied prize components is less than AUD $3,000, the unused balance will not be paid to the winner as cash, refunded, credited or otherwise made available to the winner.

Flights and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking and to the booking conditions of the relevant airline, accommodation provider and travel provider.

Travel must be undertaken on dates that enable attendance at the 2027 Bali AA Convention.

The winner and travelling companion must travel together on the same itinerary unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter and travel provider.

Unless expressly stated, First Prize does not include:

• Passports or visas;
• Travel insurance;
• Transport to or from the winner's Australian departure airport;
• Airport transfers in Bali;
• Additional accommodation;
• Meals or beverages;
• Spending money;
• Airline or accommodation upgrades;
• Additional baggage beyond that included with the booked airfare;
• Vaccinations, medical expenses or other health-related travel requirements;
• Tours or activities; or
• Any other personal or incidental expenses.

The winner and travelling companion are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports and meet all applicable visa, immigration, health and entry requirements for travel to Indonesia.

The Promoter is not responsible if the winner or travelling companion is unable to travel because they do not satisfy applicable travel or entry requirements.

Second Prize – $1,200 JB Hi-Fi Gift Card

Second Prize is a JB Hi-Fi Gift Card valued at AUD $1,200.

Third Prize – $800 Woolworths Gift Card

Third Prize is a Woolworths Gift Card valued at AUD $800.

General Prize Conditions

Prize values are accurate as at the commencement of the Raffle.

Any costs, fees, charges or expenses associated with accepting or using a prize that are not expressly included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, any substitution will be dealt with in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Images used to advertise prizes may be illustrative only and may not depict the exact prize supplied.

Draw Details

The Raffle will be drawn as follows:

Date: Saturday 19 December 2026
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: North Essendon Uniting Church, 132 Keilor Road, Essendon North VIC 3041

Attendance at the draw is not required to win.

Draw Method

The draw will be conducted electronically using the RaffleTix random draw process and random number generator.

Each eligible ticket number will have an equal chance of being selected.

First Prize will be drawn first, followed by Second Prize and Third Prize in descending order.

Once a ticket has been drawn as a winning ticket, it will not be eligible to win another prize.

Notification and Publication of Winners

Winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email using the contact details supplied when purchasing their tickets.

Winners will be contacted within 3 business days of the draw.

Winner details will be published on the Raffle Website within 3 business days of the draw to the extent required or permitted by applicable regulatory requirements.

Prize Claims and Unclaimed Prizes

Winners must respond to the Promoter and provide any information reasonably required to verify their eligibility and arrange delivery of their prize.

Prizes will be provided to winners in accordance with applicable State raffle requirements.

If a prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter will deal with that prize in accordance with the legislation and regulatory requirements applying in the relevant jurisdiction, including any required redraw, retention period, disposal process or regulatory approval.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with the Raffle, the Promoter will first attempt to resolve the matter directly with the complainant.

If the matter cannot be satisfactorily resolved, the Promoter may seek guidance from RaffleTix and/or liaise with the relevant State regulatory authority.

Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the Raffle will be used to administer the Raffle, process entries, conduct the draw, verify and contact winners, deliver prizes and satisfy applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The Promoter and its authorised service providers may use or disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to administer the Raffle or where required by law.

Where an entrant expressly opts in to receive marketing communications, the Promoter and its authorised marketing partners may send those communications in accordance with applicable law.

Entrants may withdraw their consent to receive marketing communications at any time.
