Entrants will receive an email receipt with ticket numbers. This is the proof of purchase. Winner must be able to present ticket to claim prize. RESULTS

Winner does not need to be present to collect the prize. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email within 30 days of the prize draw, and results will be announced on www.raffletix.com.au,  and Hands Across the Water and Whitsunday Escape social media pages.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Open to residents of QLD and NSW over the age of 18 only. 

All tickets purchased will be in your name, can only be purchased online through www.raffletix.com.au and cannot be on-sold.

300 tickets are available for sale at AU$50 each

There is no limit to the number of tickets per entrant, subject to raffle ticket availability. 

If requested by the Promoter, entrants must produce proof of purchase, proof of age and residency prior to being awarded the prize. 

Employees and representatives of Hands Across the Water and Whitsunday Escape and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

Tickets in the raffle will not be refunded after purchase. In the event of the intervention of any outside agent or event which changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, atomic war, invasion, or strikes, Whitsunday Escape may in its absolute discretion cancel or postpone the draw and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to legislation and the draw will be conducted on a date notified on the Hands Across the Water website.

This promotion ensures 94% of ticket price is passed to the benefitting charity Hands Across the Water. If for any reason the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of The Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the raffle, pursuant to any direction given under the Charitable and non-profit Gaming Act 1999 (QLD).  

The Prize will be delivered to the winners within one month after the winner has been decided. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss or liability suffered or incurred by any of the prize-winners in relation to The Prize. The winner releases Hands Across the Water Incorporated and its employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, The Prize. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of The Prize in anyway whatsoever.

THE PRIZE

The prize is a travel voucher for a five night bareboat charter holiday on board Whitsunday Escape’s  Nautitech Open 40 “A Little Bit Nauti” valued at AU$6,950,000. subject to the Travel Voucher Terms and Conditions.  

TRAVEL VOUCHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Travel voucher supplied by Whitsunday Escape Pty Ltd (WE), Suite 16 Abell Point Marina, Shingley Drive, Airlie Beach QLD 4802. ABN 13098179152.

No portion of the prize is redeemable for cash. Travel voucher is valid for travel concluding on or before 30 June 2021. The prize is non refundable and can not be used on any other vessel. 

If fewer than 150 tickets are sold, the winner will receive a Whitsunday Escape travel voucher to the value of 50% of the raffle proceeds, to be put towards a charter on “A Little Bit Nauti”. 

All travel is subject to availability and block out dates apply. Block out dates: 1 October 2019 – 31 October 2019, 25 December 2019 – 12 January 2020, 1 September 2020 – 31 October 2020 and 25 December 2020 – 12 January 2021. 

Travel is subject to and conditional upon acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the Whitsunday Escape Charter Agreement. 

The prize is for the supply of a five-night bareboat charter on board “A Little Bit Nauti” a Nautitech Open 40 sailing catamaran, valued at $69500. If “A Little Bit Nauti” is not available due to unforeseen circumstances at the time of the winner’s travel booking, Whitsunday Escape reserves the right to substitute a vessel of similar size and value. 

Travel is subject to the winner or winner’s crew members meeting the minimum experience requirements set out by Whitsunday Escape for the provision of a bareboat charter. If the winner or winner’s crew can not meet the minimum requirements, they must book a Whitsunday Escape sail guide at a cost of $350 per day at the winner’s own expense. 

Visas, valid passports, additional spending money, meals and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, not listed in the travel prize package descriptions above are the responsibility of the travel prize winner and his/her nominated traveling companions as incurred. It is the winner's responsibility to organise transport to/from the Whitsundays and the airport departure/return point. Prize winner and travel companions must have valid travel insurance for their period of travel. All ancillary costs such as but not limited to airfares or other transport to the departure point, food, drinks, taxes, security bond, fuel, marina fees, spending money, tours, are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
