Raffle Terms and Conditions

The Raffle will be conducted by Women’s Legal Service Queensland Limited, ABN 72 685 598 982. Women’s Legal Service Queensland Limited is a registered charity.  

The Raffle starts at 9am AEST on Monday,13 November 2023 and closes at 9am AEST on Thursday, 30 May 2024. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Open to residents of Queensland (QLD) and New South Wales (NSW), aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle. Ticket sales are NOT PERMITTED for residents of Western Australia (WA), Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Northern Territory (NT), Tasmania (TAS), Victoria (VIC) or South Australia (SA). 

There are 6,000 tickets available for purchase at a cost of $25 each, or 5 tickets for $100, 15 tickets for $250, 35 tickets for $500.

To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Promotion Period, purchase one or more raffle tickets from the raffle website.

There is no limit to the number of entries per entrant, subject to raffle ticket availability.

If requested by the Promoter, entrants must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a Prize.

Tickets cannot be purchased by any individual involved in the organisation of the raffle or the draw (including RaffleTix).  In addition, tickets cannot be purchased by the association conducting or benefiting from the raffle, or Women’s Legal Service Qld Board Members or Management, including immediate family members*

*Immediate Family means a person’s spouse and family members residing at the same premises as the person.

The Draw will take place at 11am  AEST on Thursday, 30 May 2024, at 8 Ponsonby Street, Annerley QLD 4103.

Numbered Raffle Ticket stubs will be drawn at random from a barrel. The Prize Winner will be announced verbally at the time of the draw. Prize Winner will be notified by telephone and in writing within four (4) business days of being drawn (by 4 June 2024).  Prize Winners' name will be published on the Raffle Website.

Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize.

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

As per the prize details, the prize is valid for 12 months.  Travel is preferred over the period 6 - 9 September 2024. Accommodation will not be redeemable during school holidays, Easter or the Festive season.  If the winner is outside of Brisbane metro, they will need to arrange their own transport to Brisbane, at their own expense.
