Georgie Lucock has spent the last 30 years as an artist and photographer, having studied Psychology followed by a Bachelor of Visual and Performing Arts, majoring in Photography and Drawing. Hung in major National Art prizes including Archibald National Portrait Prize (Photography), JADA drawing prize, EMSLA still life award, and Finalist in the International M.I.L.K competition resulting in a published book and worldwide exhibitions. Georgie's fascination for people fuels her passion to record memories and moments for people with various mediums including pyrography, inks, watercolours and etching.
The raffle coincides with Australia's most famous art prize, the Archibald Prize 2019, coming to Coffs Harbour January 22 to March 6 2021. All funds raised go towards supporting the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery to expand its collection of works for the community to enjoy for generations to come.
