Tarragindi Scout Group - The Scout Association of Australia Queensland Branch Inc 70th Anniversary Celebration & Raffle Fundraiser for New Floors
Tarragindi Scout Group is proud to celebrate 70 years of service to the local community, having supported young people and families since 1956. To mark this milestone, we are hosting a community celebration on the afternoon of Sunday, 14 June, with all welcome to attend.
As part of the event, we are running a raffle fundraiser to support essential upgrades to our facilities—specifically replacing the floors in our two buildings, the Main Den and Baggy’s Burrow. While we initially attempted to refresh the floors with paint, the outcome highlighted the need for a more durable, low-maintenance solution. We are now seeking to install youth-friendly epoxy flooring that is safer, longer-lasting, and better suited to the high-use environment of an active Scout Group.
We extend our sincere thanks to the local businesses and community representatives who have generously contributed raffle prizes, including Ray White Annerley, Mark Bailey MP, Cr Steve Griffiths, Julie-Ann Campbell MP, Yeronga Pool, Bunnings, Sense of Taste Tarragindi, and Zen Barber Lounge. Their support plays a vital role in helping us continue to provide a welcoming and functional space for our Scouts and the wider community.
