Promoter

The 1 Million Women Polestar 100% Electric Vehicle Raffle will be conducted by the 1 Million Women Ltd (ABN 86 122 248 122) of 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale, NSW 2008. 

Beneficiary 

The benefitting organisation is 1 Million Women Ltd (ABN 86 122 248 122). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation. 100% of the net proceeds go to 1 Million Women Ltd. 1 Million Women is a global movement of women and girls acting on climate change through the way they live. Raffle ticket sales will help fund 1 Million Women's on going work, campaigns, research into behaviour change, events, the climate action app and will help to empower as many women and girls as possible to use their lifestyle actions, their votes and their influence to act on climate change.

The Raffle starts at 9am (AEDT) on Monday, 7 November 2022. The Raffle closes at 11.59 pm (AEDT) on Monday, 30 January 2023. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, aged 18 years or older.

Tickets cannot be purchased by any individual involved in the organisation of the raffle or the draw (including RaffleTix).  In addition, tickets cannot be purchased by the association conducting or benefiting from the raffle, or it's Management Committee including immediate family members.

Prize

A brand new Polestar 2, valued at $74,840.47. Prize includes on road costs; 12 months registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance, and any other associated charges in accordance with the relevant State/Territory legislation.  The prize will be available for pick up by the winner at a Polestar location closest to the winner's location or a Polestar location convenient to the winner.

Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Maximum number of tickets

30,000 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $10.00 each.

Draw Details

The Draw will take place at 12 pm (AEDT) on Thursday, 2 February, 2023, at 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale NSW 2008.

Draw Method

The manual draw will take place in accordance with State Government regulations. Raffle tickets will be drawn at random from a barrel. First and only prize will be drawn first.

Notification and Publication of Winners

Winners will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 business days of being drawn, Monday, 6 February 2023. Prize Winners’ names will be published on the Raffle Website and the 1 Million Women Facebook page within 5 days of the draw.

Prize Claim Date

Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT. 

If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight (AEDT) on Thursday, 02 March 2023, a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 12 pm (AEDT) on Monday, 6 March 2023 at 20/40 Meagher Street, Chippendale, NSW, 2008. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
