Rotary Club of Wagga Wagga Sunrise $10 for $10,000 Raffle

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Club of Wagga Wagga Sunrise ABN: 94460679825, a not-for-profit organisation.

2. Purpose

This raffle is conducted to raise funds to support the activities and charitable objectives of the promoter.

3. Eligibility

• Entry is open to persons aged 18 years or over.
• Members of Rotary Club of Wagga Wagga Sunrise and their immediate families are eligible to enter. 
• By purchasing a ticket, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

4. Ticket Sales

• Ticket price: $10 each.
• Tickets are available from 6th August 2026 until 1st November 2026, unless sold out earlier.
• Tickets must not be sold to anyone under 18 years of age if prohibited by law.
• Residents of NSW are only eligible to enter. Residents of any other State and Territory not listed above are NOT PERMITTED to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes

5. Prize

• One prize valued at $10,000.
• The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.

6. Draw

• The draw will take place at The Botanic Gardens Wagga Wagga on Sunday 1st November 2026 at 11am.
• The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries. Winner does not need to be present at the draw.
• Maximum of 2000 will be sold. Raffle will close once 2000 tickets have been sold.  
• An Independent scrutineer will be present at the draw. 
• The draw is open to the public.

7. Winner Notification

• The winner will be contacted by telephone and/or email within two business days of the draw.
• The winner's name will be published on the promoter's website and social media pages, subject to applicable privacy laws.

8. Prize Collection

• The prize must be claimed within three months of the draw.
• Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner.
• Prize must be deposited into the winner’s bank account.
• Funds will be deposited within 5 business days of winner providing their bank details. 
• If the prize remains unclaimed after three months, a redraw will be conducted on 2nd February 2027 at The Gardens Cafe Botanic Gardens, Wagga Wagga. The redraw winner will be notified in the same manner.

9. Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, damaged or misdirected due to technical or other reasons beyond its reasonable control.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for administering the raffle and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Information will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law.

12. Compliance

This raffle is conducted in accordance with the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) and the Community Gaming Regulation 2020 (NSW).
