About the Raffle
Promoter
The National Homeless Collective and Far North Sports Fishing Ultimate Adventure Raffle will be conducted by National Homeless Collective, via its nominee Donna Stolzenberg. The benefitting organisation is National Homeless Collective (ABN 93 613 068 992). The benefitting organisation is a not-for-profit organisation.
Beneficiary
Net proceeds of the raffle will be in support of National Homeless Collective to create solutions to complex issues arising from homelessness, domestic violence, and social disadvantage.
National Homeless Collective is a grassroots Australian charity that creates solutions to complex issues arising from homelessness, domestic violence, and social disadvantage.
We create Projects that respond to the needs of people living in crisis and distress. In all of our work, we ensure we centre the needs of those we're assisting as well as customs of Indigenous and LGBTIQ+ people.
Since 2015, we have created six sub charities including: Period Project, School Project, Plate Up Project, Sleeping Bags for the Homeless, and Secret Women's Business.
Our charity employs women currently experiencing homeless as well as those at risk. National Homeless Collective's board is entirely volunteer-run and comprises of 90% women and 60% Indigenous people.
The Raffle starts at 6 am (AEST) on Friday, 27 August 2021. The Raffle closes at 11 pm (AEDT) on Monday, 20th December 2021. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria, aged 18 years or older.
Tickets cannot be purchased by Directors, Management, Committee members, Employees or Contractors of National Homeless Collective, Raise for Good, or RaffleTix, or their immediate families, i.e. those living with them.
Prize
Fishing charter for 2 people, including return transfers to/from Cairns - Lockhart, valued at $21,000 plus return airfares up to the value of $4,000 from your nearest major capital City Airport to Cairns Airport. Total value up to $25,000.

- 7 days / 6 nights of bluewater fishing with selected river and estuary fishing

Charter dates are set for 3rd to the 9th of March 2022.

Maximum number of tickets
5,800 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $25.00 each.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 12 pm (AEDT) on Friday, 24th December 2021, at Saltwater at Currumbin, 2 - 4 Thrower Drive, Currumbin QLD, 4223.
Draw Method
A numbered Raffle Ticket stub will be drawn at random from a barrel. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizing in descending order.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website and the National Homeless Collective and Raise for Good Facebook pages. Please check the website and the aforementioned Facebook pages for details.
Winner will be published in the Australian newspaper on Wednesday, 29 December 2021.
Prize Claim Date
Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT.
If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight on Monday, 24 January 2022 a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 3 pm AEDT on Tuesday, 25 January 2022, at Saltwater at Currumbin, 2 - 4 Thrower Drive, Currumbin QLD, 4223. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

There is an agreement with RaffleTix (ABN 24 623 531 340) to promote or conduct this raffle for reward.
