Our Guest home is nestled in the foothills of Mount Wellington and is only minutes to the CBD by bus . The free standing house is one bedroom with a queen bed and has a double sofa inner spring bed in the living room, a spare single mattress bed is also available for extra people. Although the house can accommodate 5 people, the house is quite small and is not really suitable for 5 adults if you need lots of space, Families with kids will manage OK just don't expect heaps of extra space.
The space
5 minutes from town by public bus with the stop just outside the property, This cosy wood heated unit enjoys mountain views and abounds with native wildlife. Bush walking tracks are all around. For those with their own vehicle there is undercover parking.
Guest access
You will have exclusive use of the unit ,attached deck, laundry facilities. free NBN wireless internet, T.V ,small book collection. Tea and coffee is freely available and breakfast cereal and milk is on hand .Extra single beds can be made available as can a portable cot. The main bed has an electric blanket fitted for those cooler nights.
Other things to note
Whilst our place is only 5 mins to the CBD by bus we are in a quite neighbourhood . We are in the foothills of mount wellington and wildlife abounds. Sandy bay, an adjoining suburb on 2 to 3 minutes away has an abundance of restaurants and bars that cater for all needs, also you will find Woolworth's and Coles supermarkets and chemist's and much more.

OUR MENU
We use the best, fresh local seafood purchased daily from our local fish suppliers. Local speciality fish includes blue eye trevalla, king and mirror dory, swordfish, pink ling, flathead, oysters, scallops, octopus and local calamari.
In addition to our main menu we also have daily seasonal specials on our blackboard. Recent specials have included Pan-friend flathead with garlic mashed potato, calamari + prawns in a bouillabaise sauce; Sri Lankan Seafood curry with ling, scallops and prawns; and seared scallops with five-spiced pork belly and sweet chilli sauce.

Red Parka is the creative business of Tasmanian artists Jennifer Cossins and Tracy Colhoun. Jen began Red Parka back in 2008 with a stall at a local market and a dream to make a living from her artwork. Over the years, her business grew until she decided to open her own store in 2015.
