Open to residents of New South Wales (NSW), Victoria (VIC), South Australia (SA), Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Tasmania (TAS) and Northern Territory (NT) only.
The raffle will be drawn at 1 p.m. on Sunday 6 January 2019 at Summernats 32 - Exhibition Park (EPIC), Cnr. Flemington Road & Northbourne Avenue , Mitchell, ACT, 2602.
Ticket sales are NOT PERMITTED for residents of Western Australia (WA), and Queensland (QLD) due to raffle licence restrictions in those states.
Tickets will be on sale from Friday 17 August 2018 to Sunday 6 January 2019.
Draw will be by barrel draw and live streamed on Facebook. Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on Australian Horizons Foundation Facebook page. Please check the Facebook pages for details. The results will also be published in The Australian newspaper on Friday 11 January 2019.
24,000 tickets will be available for sale at $25 per ticket. Net proceeds of the raffle will support the work of The Australian Horizons Foundation working in partnership to help communities with social and economic relief.
Tickets cannot be purchased by committee members, staff of Gulf Horizons Foundation Limited, trading as Australian Horizon Foundation, or their immediate families i.e. those living with them. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Freight is included in the prize (subject to location availability).
Payment processing fee applies. Please note: This is NOT a brand new car!!! Car will NOT have registration or warranty.
Vehicle condition - The Promoter, Gulf Horizons Foundation Limited, does not guarantee the roadworthiness of the vehicle. Any attempt to register the Prize to the relevant road authority will be done independently by the Winner.
Exclusion of Liability - The Promoter, Gulf Horizons Foundation Limited, will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. As the Prize does not include comprehensive insurance, the winner is advised to arrange their own insurance prior to collection of the vehicle.

On farm visits - providing face to face Mental Health Support for farmers - 20% proceeds up to a maximum $120,000

Education program to support quality education for children in rural and remote communities – 10% gross proceeds up to maximum - $60,000
Research on issues important to people in rural and remote areas of Australia – 10% gross proceeds up to maximum - $60,000
