Established in 1991, the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir is a fixture of the LGBTQI+ community in Sydney and beyond, and any money raised from this raffle will help maintain lower membership and rehearsal fees to keep the choir an accessible and welcoming space for a broader number of people, guarantee our continued presence and visibility at community events locally and further afield, and contribute to making our upcoming concerts exciting, engaging, and musically diverse.
Our exciting and diverse pool of prizes is worth over $3,500, featuring tickets to a range of lively parties, must-see concerts, compelling theatre shows, moving films, and unmissable events happening throughout the Mardi Gras season and beyond, as well as gift vouchers to local queer businesses and our allies, all generously donated by the many names and organisations listed below.
Tying in to our Eurovision season which kicks off on Saturday 8th February with our Eurovision - Australia Decides Viewing Party & Fundraiser (buy your tickets now!) and will culminate in our extravaganza concerts in May, the prizes also include some amazing performances from some faces familiar to Eurovision fans including Conchita Wurst, Courtney Act, Kate Miller-Heidke, Joel Creasey, and iOTA!
Thank you for your support in helping us to continue our role as a symbol of inclusion, hope, and diversity while we look to the future in preparation for our 30th anniversary.
