Golf Ball Raffle Drop : Rules and Conditions

The Draw (Drop) will be held at Yowani Country Club, 455 Northbourne Ave Lyneham ACT 2602. Only balls/tickets sold will dropped from above to the Green below.  Winners do not need to be present at the drop. The Golf Ball Raffle Drop will be conducted by the Rotary Club of Emerald and District Inc.

Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners of prizes. Winners will be contacted by phone and email as supplied and listed on the Rotary Club of Emerald and District's website, this RaffleTix website and the Rotary International District 9810  Facebook page. 

The raffle is open to participants 18 years and older as of the entry date and must be a Victorian resident.

Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.  A maximum of 1000 Balls/Tickets will be sold. Golf balls are individually and permanently numbered to the corresponding ticket.

Golf balls will be loaded and dropped to green bellow. 

Decisions by the Organising Committee and DG Ken Miller  on all aspects of this event will be final and binding.

In the event of a tie, if present the ball owners may choose to split the prize or DG Ken will use a flip coin to determine the winner.

Winners will be notified by phone or email from the contact information supplied. If a winner cannot be located or fails to claim the prize within (30) days after notification, the prize will be forfeited and considered a donation. (thank you very much!)

By entering the raffle, the winner consents, without limitation or without compensation, to the use of their name, voice, photograph, likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes, except where prohibited by law.

In the event the drop cannot take place by a ‘drop’ due to circumstances beyond the Organising Committee control and if the Conference 2023 District 9810 Canberra Golf day should be cancelled for any reason  the raffle will be conducted via a lottery ticket draw method whereby all golf balls will be placed in a raffle container. The first ball drawn from the container wins the grand prize; the second prize will be awarded to the second ball drawn; the third prize will be awarded to the third ball drawn.
