2026 APBGP Raffle — Have a Crack & Help Keep the Grand Prix Racing!

Every ticket in our 2026 Australian Postie Bike Grand Prix Raffle helps us put this crazy little race on for the community!

The APBGP is a community-run, not-for-profit event, and it takes a mountain of work, volunteers, sponsors and fundraising to get those Postie Bikes roaring around the streets of Cessnock each year.

Raffle funds go directly towards helping us cover the costs of putting the event on — things like permits, road closures, safety, insurance, equipment, facilities, signage and all the other behind-the-scenes stuff that most people never see, but that we absolutely need to make race weekend happen.

And let's be honest… there's some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

1. Purpose of the Raffle

The 2026 APBGP Raffle is a fundraising activity conducted to assist with the costs of staging the Australian Postie Bike Grand Prix, a community-run event held in Cessnock, NSW.

Funds raised through the raffle will contribute towards the costs associated with staging the event, including event infrastructure, safety, traffic management, permits, insurance, equipment, facilities and other operational expenses required to deliver the event to the community.

2. Eligibility

1. Entry is open to NSW residents aged 18 years and over, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

2. By purchasing a ticket, entrants confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of any entrant or winner.

3. How to Enter

1. Tickets may be purchased online through the authorised RaffleTix ticketing platform.

2. Each raffle ticket costs $5.00.

3. Multiple tickets may be purchased by an eligible entrant.

4. Each valid ticket purchased represents one entry into the raffle.

5. A ticket is only considered valid once payment has been successfully received and the ticket has been issued by the RaffleTix platform.

6. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or not successfully processed due to technical difficulties or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

4. Raffle Draw

1. The raffle will be drawn on Sunday 18 October 2026.

2. The draw will be conducted by a random selection process from all valid entries received by the advertised closing time.

3. The raffle draw order will be selected with the major prize of the CT125 drawn first, followed by 2nd, 3rd, then 4th prize drawn last. 

4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each selected winning entry before a prize is awarded.

5. The Promoter's decision regarding the conduct of the draw and determination of winning entries is final, subject to applicable law.

6. A ticket can only win one prize. Once an entry has been drawn as a winning entry, it will not be eligible for any subsequent prize in the same draw.

• Prize value: $8,500

2nd Prize — The Budget Buster

• $2,000 in Visa Gift Cards

• Prize value: $2,000

3rd Prize — Rydges Resort Hunter Valley Package

• Two nights' accommodation for two people in a King Hotel Room

• Buffet breakfast for two daily

• One round of 18 holes of golf for two adults, including cart, at Hunter Valley Golf Course

• Sydney Brewery tour for two adults

• $50 dining voucher for The Lovedale Brew Bar

• Prize value: $745

• Accommodation, golf, tour and dining components are subject to the relevant supplier's terms, conditions, availability and booking requirements.

4th Prize — Beyond Ballooning

• Double pass with breakfast

• Supplied by Beyond Ballooning

• Prize value: $658

• Subject to supplier terms, conditions, availability, weather and operational requirements.

6. Prize Conditions

1. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash unless otherwise required by law.

2. Any unused portion of a prize has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

3. Prize components supplied by third parties are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers.

4. The Promoter is not responsible for changes to availability, operating conditions, weather conditions or other circumstances affecting third-party prize components.

5. Where a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter will deal with the matter in accordance with applicable NSW gaming and fundraising requirements.

7. Notification of Winners

1. Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at the time of entry.

2. Where appropriate, winners may also be announced through the official Australian Postie Bike Grand Prix social media channels and/or website.

3. Winners may be required to provide reasonable proof of identity and proof of the winning ticket before a prize is released.

4. It is the entrant's responsibility to ensure that their contact details are correct and current.

8. Claiming Prizes

1. Winners must contact the Promoter within 30 days of being notified to arrange collection or delivery of their prize, unless otherwise specified.

2. The winner of the Honda CT125 must organise with the Promoter to pick up from Maitland Motorcycles within 30 days of being notified. 

3. The Promoter may require the original winning ticket, ticket number and/or proof of identity before releasing a prize.

4. Prizes will only be released to the verified winner or an authorised representative where permitted by the Promoter and applicable law.

5. If a prize remains unclaimed after the applicable claim period, the Promoter may conduct a redraw or otherwise deal with the prize in accordance with applicable NSW legislation and regulatory requirements.

9. Privacy

1. Personal information collected through the raffle will be used for the purposes of administering the raffle, processing entries, contacting winners and fulfilling prizes.

2. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Promoter's privacy practices.

3. Entrants consent to being contacted by the Promoter in relation to their raffle entry and, where applicable, prize fulfilment.

4. Winner information may be published where required or permitted by law and these Terms & Conditions.

10. Technical Issues

The Promoter and RaffleTix are not responsible for any technical failure, interruption, telecommunications failure, website failure, payment processing failure or other issue outside the reasonable control of the Promoter that prevents an entrant from successfully purchasing a ticket.

11. Changes or Cancellation

The Promoter reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the raffle where necessary, provided that any changes are made in accordance with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.

If the raffle is cancelled or materially altered for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter will deal with all valid entries and funds in accordance with applicable NSW legislation and any directions or requirements of the relevant authority.

12. Disputes

Any dispute relating to the conduct of the raffle, eligibility, ticket validity or claiming of a prize should first be referred to the Promoter for consideration.

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute fairly and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and applicable NSW legislation.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

13. General

1. By purchasing a ticket, the entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. The raffle is conducted for fundraising purposes in support of the Australian Postie Bike Grand Prix.

3. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

4. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

5. The Promoter will comply with all applicable NSW gaming, raffle, fundraising and consumer laws.
