The Queensland Country Women's Association (QCWA) is an active community of women who, together, improve the lives of people living in regional, rural and remove Queensland. Women from all walks of life are members of the QCWA and they join for a variety of reasons. Renowned for being great home cooks and for their handcrafts – but QCWA is so much more than that! It's about friendship, community and connection.
QCWA will use the proceeds from this Art Union to provide skills-based workshops across Queensland that will enhance job or small business opportunities and raise health and wellbeing.
About the Raffle
Promoter
The QCWA Coolum Gold Raffle 2022 will be conducted by Queensland Country Women's Assocation. The benefitting organisation is The Queensland Country Women's Association (ABN 22 621 683 521), a not-for-profit organisation.

Promotion Period
The Raffle starts at 9 am (AEST) on Thursday, 25 August 2022. The Raffle closes at 12 pm (AEST) on Friday, 16 December 2022. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Relevant States/Entry Restrictions
Entry is open to residents of New South Wales, Victoria, aged 18 years or older.
Tickets cannot be purchased by any individual involved in the management or organisation of the Raffle or the draw. In addition, tickets cannot be purchased by Corporate entities, Members of the State Executive Board of QCWA and employees of QCWA, Directors, Management, Committee Members, and employees of contracted service providers, including RaffleTix or their immediate families.
The Prizes
There are two apartments on offer. A Luxury 3 Bedroom Apartment including a package of furniture,appliances and plumbing ware valued at $1,400,000, a Luxury 3 Bedroom Apartment including a package of furniture, appliances and plumbing ware valued at $1,330,000, Artworks valued at $15,000 and Pearls valued at $10,000. Total prize pool value $2,755,000.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Maximum number of tickets
270,000 tickets are available for purchase at a cost of $25.00 each.
Draw Details
The Draw will take place at 5.00pm (AEST) on Monday, 19 December 2022 at 270 Kelvin Grove Road, Kelvin Grove QLD 4059.
Draw Method
A numbered Raffle Ticket stub will be drawn at random from a barrel. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizes in descending order.
Notification and Publication of Winners
Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website and the QCWA website and Facebook page, within 3 business days of being drawn, by 22 December 2022. Please check the websites and the aforementioned Facebook page for details.
Prize Claim Date
Winner has 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize except if the winner is from ACT (see further terms and conditions attached). Winners are to contact secretary@qcwa.org.au in order to claim their prize.
Unclaimed Prize Arrangements
If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.
